RasPass may collect the following categories of information:

• Account information, such as your name, email address, account identifier, plan, and role.
• URLs, website addresses, domains, hostnames, and paths submitted for analysis.
• Search-history records associated with signed-in accounts, including the submitted input and time of the search.
• Technical information necessary to operate and protect the service, such as browser type, device information, server logs, IP address, timestamps, error information, and security events.
• Messages and information you provide when contacting support.

When you submit a website or URL, RasPass may analyze technical and security information associated with that destination.

This may include HTTPS availability, SSL certificate information, TLS version, DNS records, redirects, security headers, known threat records, phishing indicators, suspicious URL patterns, brand-impersonation signals, and related report results.

Submitted URLs may contain paths or query information. You should not submit URLs containing passwords, access tokens, private documents, confidential information, or other sensitive data.

We use collected information to:

• Create and maintain user accounts.
• Process website checks and generate trust and security reports.
• Display search history to signed-in users.
• Detect phishing, abuse, fraud, suspicious activity, and technical problems.
• Improve the accuracy, reliability, performance, and usability of RasPass.
• Respond to support requests and security reports.
• Comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and security of RasPass, its users, and others.

RasPass relies on third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate its features.

These providers may process limited information as necessary to deliver their services. Current providers include:

• Supabase, used for authentication, account profiles, database storage, and related backend functions.
• Google Web Risk, used to check submitted URLs for known threat records.
• Hosting, domain, email, monitoring, and infrastructure providers used to make RasPass available and secure.

These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

RasPass may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, account sessions, security, preferences, and core website operation.

We may update this section if analytics, advertising, or optional tracking technologies are introduced in the future.

RasPass does not currently sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioural advertising.

Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary:

• With service providers that help operate RasPass.
• To investigate security incidents, abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms.
• To comply with applicable laws, legal processes, or lawful government requests.
• To protect the rights, property, and safety of RasPass, its users, or others.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide RasPass, maintain accounts and search history, protect the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is stored. Security logs and backups may remain for a limited period after information is removed from active systems.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no website, transmission method, database, or security system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You may choose not to create an account and may still use public features that RasPass makes available without sign-in.

You may request information about your account, correction of inaccurate personal information, or deletion of your account by contacting us. Some information may be retained when required for security, legal, fraud-prevention, or operational purposes.

RasPass is not designed to knowingly collect unnecessary personal information from children. Users should not submit another person's private or sensitive information through the website-scanning feature.

A parent or legal guardian who believes that a child has provided personal information may contact us to request review or removal.

RasPass and its service providers may process and store information in countries other than the country where you live. Data-protection rules may differ between jurisdictions.

We may update this Privacy Policy when RasPass changes, when new features are introduced, or when legal and operational requirements change.

The updated effective date will be displayed at the top of this page. Continued use of RasPass after an update means the revised policy will apply to future use of the service.
